Gigamon is seeking a highly motivated and driven sales professional to join our team as a Regional Sales Director for Insight, Gigamon's award winning cloud-based network threat detection and response product. This sales role will be responsible for driving all Insight related revenue in a specific territory and promoting product adoption into large enterprise accounts by partnering with the core Gigamon enterprise sales team.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify new prospective accounts and close enterprise business at executive level CISO/CIO.
- Run a full sales cycle for mid-market corporate prospects
- Develop a disciplined pipeline working with sales, channel, marketing and customer success partners.
- Accurately forecast monthly/quarterly revenue
- Work as a team, partnering with product management, customer success and sales leadership to close new business opportunities
- Partner with sales engineering to demonstrate technical value and drive to a technical win.
- Travel domestically within region
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively, translating technical features into business value.
- Minimum 5+ years of Enterprise Sales experience, 3+ years selling security solutions
- Experience selling enterprise subscription software / SaaS applications a plus.
- Passionate about demonstrating customer value, hunting for opportunities, identifying pain points and bringing solutions to the table.
- Experience working in a matrix selling environment.
- Experience closing complex enterprise sales transactions
- Track record of analytical capability in a high-performance environment
- High attention to detail and proven organization and administration skills
- Ability to accomplish projects with little supervision
- Experience using SalesForce.com
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communications skills
