      The Role: Reporting to the Vice President of Legends Attractions Project Management, the Regional Project Manager is responsible for covering the assigned region, and delivering the build out of Attractions Projects within scope, schedule, and budget agreed to by all stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the installation of all Attraction elements for the execution of required base building infrastructure for either new or retrofitted construction
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives by producing the Project Budget and Timeline
  • Lead in the selection of the Attraction Designer and the Consultants of Record by involving all relevant stakeholders and to obtain consensus on their selection
  • Develop and publish to management, the client and project stakeholders a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress of both the attraction design and build and construction
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques/templates
  • Report on project performance with an emphasis on budget, schedule, and potential pitfalls;report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully communicate with and manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Work with the VP of Project Management, bring on board all required designers, consultants and builders required to design, furnish and install all Attraction elements
  • Manage and direct two to four projects at any given time, most of which will be remote, in the assigned region
  • Effectively work with all Legends entities including Hospitality, IT, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Project Development to provide the full 360 Degree of Services
  • Assist in the Business Development of Legends Attractions in the support of obtaining additional opportunities by providing insight, budgets and proposed project timelines as part of presentations to new clients
  • Extend the knowledge taken from potential franchised projects and use it to implement new projects in a growing franchise
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation ex: drawings, specifications, commissioning reports, as-builts, contracts, work orders, furniture/equipment orders, reports, etc.


  • Fifteen to twenty years' experience in the Project Management of Design and Construction of Attractions or a related building type, ex: theater, TV Studio, live entertainment venue, with a strong understanding of national and regional codes and requirements, including but not limited to ADA and LEED
  • Proven working experience in the build out of attractions, entertainment projects or theme parks with an emphasis on projects that have shown innovation with out of the box processes that lead to creative solutions
  • A self-starter comfortable with being managed remotely who understands the importance of communication and collaboration
  • Provide a body of work that confirms the ability to remotely manage buildouts and travel costs
  • Solid technical background with the understanding and/or hands-on experience in building high performance elements into a “black box” space
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, espcially Microsoft Project
  • BS/BA in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or a related field with a Architectural or Engineering license preferred
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with a demonstrated proficiency for high quality written and verbal communication
