Regional Operations Director

    • Drive Field Team Effectiveness:
      • 1:1 field travel and coaching; co-travel and coaching letters following each field ride.
      • Scheduling / Cases (Tracking scheduled and potential patients and providing case updates)
      • Time Management: Daily/weekly review and coaching regarding calendars to ensure timely input and provide coaching based on quantity/quality of activity.  Redirect clinical team where necessary.
      • Refine and improve customer targeting and interactions regarding Data (P2, USPELLA AMI, Hemodynamic Principles of Impella), patient ID and business reviews.
    • Ensure Employee and Customer Competency:
      • Development and retention of clinical team
      • Ownership of employee field training and certification (Control Training Schedule and Book Modules).
      • Attend all new 2.5 customer site launches and new platform (where possible) re-launches to ensure consistency.
      • Control training for current and new customers (assessment, scheduling, execution and documentation).
      • Drive customer Independence in both patient implant and management.
    • Business Management:
      • Vetting of resumes for open positions and building a recruiting bench for clinical team.
      • Approve expense reports, Colpitts travel and vacations.  Final Review by RD.
      •  Allocate and minimize the use of Per Diems.  All Per Diem approvals by RDs with copy to VP of Sales.
    • Manage Clinical Outcomes:
      • Ensure post insertion best practice for patients placed on support to optimize outcomes and customer experience.
      • Patient implant coverage, management and customer communication
      • Ensure the field team updates case status of those “on-support” so the team can effectively drive escalation of therapy where appropriate.
      • Troubleshooting and timely submission of SPRs.
    • Complete and submit year end evaluations for clinical team, via word document, to RD for final review and official submission.
  • Bachelor's-level degree in science/health related field,
  • Professional, self starter, very enthusiastic, catalyst and committed to make the difference
  • Successful sales management experience required; Cath lab related products is a plus.
  • Ability to manage and provide tactical and leadership guidance to clinical team.
