Job Description


  • Provides direction and coaching to Site IT managers and technicians across the region
  • Primary contact with site business leadership, manufacturing leadership, corporate IT leadership, and global service owners to define and prioritize IT service requirements
  • Hire, train, and evaluate site IT managers and technicians to deliver IT services effective and efficiently
  • Manage timely and effective communications across business managers, IT Leadership, and service providers when service goes wrong
  • Develops resources through regional participation in IT Center of Excellence teams
  • Partner with Service Owners to enable continuous improvement of IT Services and Centers of Excellence
  • Regional IT Service Desk coordinator accountable for OLAs with Incident and Request Fulfillment
  • Weekly verbal communications with IT leaders and service providers from different regions
  • Ensure adherence to established corporate strategies, standards and policies
  • Hold site IT managers accountable to adhere to IT Change management governance model
  • Provide metrics tracking of operational performance and quality of services
  • Participate in troubleshooting, capacity planning and analysis, performance analysis, postmortem
  • Creative use of global resources to balance local business requirements with corporate objectives
  • Follow Project management methodology and participate in weekly PMO meetings
  • Understand and communicate IT strategy to site leadership and IT teams
  • Ensures that design and selection of new site specific solutions are in alignment with corporate IT strategies and policies.  Conduct architecture/security reviews through PMO processes.
