Silverado is presently seeking an Regional Director of Sales to join our Hospice teams in Texas and Illinois!

To support Silverado’s vision, this role will focus on several priorities which include:

Manage and lead hospice regional sales teams within the Texas and Illinois markets. Strategic sales planning -including identifying new markets and developing market and competitive analysis, developing and implementing highly innovative sales strategies, and creating and tracking metrics and reporting. Manage the recruiting / interviewing process for all hospice sales personnel. Ensure sales activities, quotas, and/or other assigned responsibilities are being achieved by the hospice sales team. Develop in conjunction with our education department initial orientation and ongoing training to hospice sales teams. Ongoing coaching and development of Directors of Business Development (DBD’s) and their respective Liaisons. Monitor and adhere to the sales budget. Ensures compliance with State, Federal and Country regulations and with company policy and mission. Keeps top management appraised of sales through verbal and written communication.


  • Proven ability to lead and manage regional sales teams.
  • Proven ability to generate new business and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts.
  • Bachelor's degreepreferred.
  • Previous experience with implementing and managing a CRM platform.
  • Five to 8 years of sales management experience in the healthcare environment – ideally hospice care.
  • Strong interpersonal, persuasive/negotiating, and time management skills.
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with prior hospital sales management experience and/or established relationships with health plans, hospitals, physician groups and other managed care entities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of time.
  • Preferably located in Texas (not required)
  • Valid driver's license.
