The Regional Director of Operations for the Plant Operations Management team participates on a management team for the district and provides overall planning, direction, evaluation and control of units, achieving operational and financial goals. The Regional Director provides guidance and motivation to Facilities Directors, as well as other managers and associates. This role is instrumental in establishing and maintaining effective customer/client rapport. This is a traveling position Mon-Thurs with home office on Friday. You will be covering NC, AL & GA with potential to grow into other states.
Responsibilities:
• Manages all accounts within a region to ensure compliance with government and agency standards and to ensure profitability of the region
• Manages planning, budget analysis and reporting for the Region
• Responsible for attainment of financial goals for the region
• Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of financial data and statistics
• Recommends and manages capital requirements to maximize financial returns
• Maintains and supports client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention
• Conducts quarterly QBR’s with client to ensure and communicate program and contract compliance is being met
• Monitors client communications effectively, including communicating the benefits of maintaining Crothall Healthcare as the services management provider
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Maintains an awareness of the competition and market conditions internal and external to the accounts and region
• Active involvement with his/her Regional Vice President and/or sales directors in the bid and selling process as required
• In conjunction with his or her Regional Vice President and human resources representative develops the region's training plan for management employees and ensures its successful implementation
• Coaches and counsels managers as needed; provides continuous feedback on performance and applies appropriate developmental tools to assist in their individual growth
• Visit each account on a regular basis to ensure that a positive relationship is maintained with the Director, Department Staff, and key client representatives
• Attends committee meetings to understand the needs of the client
• Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience as a Facilities Director in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in P&L management
• Contract-managed service experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience with Life Safety Codes in an acute care hospital setting
• 5 years’ experience in a Facilities Management environment
