KeyPoint Government Solutions is currently seeking candidates for a Regional Contract Liaison Director. Candidates for this opening may work from home.

The Regional Contract Liaison Director is accountable for service delivery, operational excellence, and leadership of a team specialist subcontract managers (Contract Liaisons) and subcontract oversight of hundreds of contract investigation companies supporting KeyPoint’s vital national security support missions. Together with their team of Contract Liaisons, the successful Regional Contract Liaison Director sets and delivers upon operational targets, leads innovation in contract management and subcontractor partnership practices, analyzes team and subcontract performance, and identifies and solves process and execution challenges. As a valued member of the Operations Leadership Team, the RCLD helps to create and direct a positive, accountable, and innovative environment which consistently exceeds expectations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides leadership and direction to the contract liaison team so they can execute on workload operations in a manner that exceeds customer performance and quality expectations
  • Approves providing notice to contract investigators regarding offering engagements and ensuring adherence to policy
  • Senior leader responsible overall for subcontract production, efficiency, and quality in the assigned region
  • Develops an organization of excellence through positive leadership, clear communication, high performance standards, organizational efficacy, and high standards of individual integrity, quality, and accountability
  • Delivers timely and quality production and inventory management to exceed expectations
  • Applies excellent business acumen and negotiation skills to oversee procurement and subcontracting of investigation services with hundreds of small business partners
  • Supervises daily leadership activities of subcontract liaisons including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Effectively manages and develops subcontract partnerships including through innovative contract engagement strategies, contract compliance education and enforcement, master problem solving skills, and high standard performance based subcontract management
  • Fosters a collaborative working environment that maximizes employee morale, performance, and innovation
  • Leads practice of data driven business analysis, goal setting, forecasting, and execution follow through
  • Actively identifies and leads continuous improvement efforts in direct and indirect areas of responsibility
  • Work with cross functional peers including program management, human resources, information technology, compliance, and others in daily operations and in special projects
  • Must be able to travel regularly
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience may be substituted for degree
  • Attend new hire orientation
  • 4 or more years of progressively increasing responsibility for leadership of large operations teams is required
  • Prior field operations and/or background investigation supervisory experience is preferred
  • Strong experience and knowledge of subcontract management best practices and innovation trends
  • Confident verbal and written communication and active listening skills at all levels of an organization
  • Track record of excellence in leading productivity driven and geographically disperse operations at scale
  • Outstanding knowledge and accomplishment in Quality; lean / six sigma experience is preferred
  • High business acumen including familiarity with best practices in optimization and innovation in operations
  • Advanced technical and data analysis acumen, including advanced computer / Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Results driven with strong independence, decision making, accountability, and collaboration skills
  • Strong strategic and analytic skills as well as ability to roll up sleeves and problem solve and execute
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Advanced knowledge of the federal investigative standards and background investigation process preferred
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities at all times, and manage time to work efficiently
  • Experience in talent evaluation, hiring, and development
  • Personality and empathy skills to foster employee engagement and motivation in a virtual/remote team
  • Experience thriving in an entrepreneurial, fast moving, complex, and agile culture
  • U.S. citizenship (required for federal security clearance).
