The Neurosciences team specializes in the research and development of drugs for the treatment of neurological and psychiatric diseases that address largely unmet medical needs.
The Regional business Manager supervises all field based Neurosciences Territory Business Managers in assigned region with primary responsibility to meet Customer needs and achieve budgeted sales goals within assigned geography for injectable, buy & bill products..

•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
•5+ years of pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical experience with a minimum of 2+ years of Specialty Pharmaceutical/Biotech Management Experiencerequired.
•2+ years of experience in Neurology/Movement Disorder/Physiatry/Injectable and/or Buy and Bill reimbursement environment helpful though not required.
•Proven and documented track record of management sales success. Successful management launch experience highly preferred.
•Demonstrated high quality communication and interpersonal skills.
•Must possess excellent analytical skills.
JOB PERFORMANCE ESSENTIALS
•Interview and hire candidates for the Neurology Sales Team with final approval from the National Sales Director and VP, Commercial Operations.
•Direct, coach, and supervise commercial and promotional activities of a regional sales team to meet sales goals.
•Sets clear objectives for TBMs in terms of activity and performance and holds them accountable for territory management and results.
•Meet key employee retention objectives through proactive development, coaching, counseling and recognition.
•Maintain high proficiency of product/disease state knowledge, precision market data and marketplace dynamics.
•Maintain extensive knowledge of Managed Care, GPO’s, VA-DOD, Specialty Pharmacy, Medicare Part B, and State Medicaid selling and reimbursement environments/strategies.
•Responsible for the authorization and control of all administration/budget proceedings for the region.
•Allocate and budget resources within region based on best ROI analysis.
•Complete performance appraisals/coaching reports in a timely and thorough manner.
•Promote and maintain compliance with Company promotional and commercial policies. Sales Planning
•Work closely with the National Sales Director, Marketing, Managed Markets, and other home office personnel to develop sales plans and strategies.
•Work with KAM’s to identify and manage a specific group of Key Accounts in the VA DoD space as well as large institutions.
•Develop and execute regional business/action plan. Consult with specialists within region to identify and implement territory level strategies/tactics to meet both territory and regional sales goals.
•Provide accurate feedback on promotional strategies and resources to home office. Assist others in problem solving when appropriate.
•Analyze sales and market trends to effectively identify future business opportunities. Utilize precision marketing data to adjust selling strategies/tactics on a customer, territory and regional level. Region Field Champion Commercial Pull Through for Managed Care Payer Wins
•Lead and direct all field based special deployment
•Work together with Managed Care to develop target account list and 30, 60, 90 day plan
•Work with commercial analytics to track metrics and KPI’s
•Work with marketing/managed care to ensure appropriate tools are utilized and trained on approved messages
•Communicate progress to upper management and hold regular communication with team in field. Other Duties
•Identify and assist Medical Affairs as needed in the development of regional thought leaders.
•Partner, support, and enhance local advocacy relationships within region.
•Attend, organize, conduct and participate in sales meetings/workshops.
•Become key contact for all sales and marketing activity within area of responsibility.
•Maintain close contact with reimbursement trends within region.
•Communicate and support corporate Managed Markets initiatives within area of responsibility
