This position will report to the Dodge Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for filling gaps within sales regions where a commissioned sales force does not exist. The positions home location ideally will be in Kansas City or St. Louis.
Identify regional user accounts, engage & drive specification
Identify mid-size EPC firms. Target, develop relationship and drive specification
Collaborate with Baldor District Office counterparts to target shared accounts such as pumping OEM's and Vertical Gear Motor opportunities
Manage IIR/PEC report process for three assigned regions
Active participation in regional trade associations
High School Diploma or GED AND 9 years' experience in sales
Associates degree AND 7 years' experience in sales
Bachelors' Degree AND 5 years' experience in sales
*A Master's Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.
*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experience
Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or Business
5+ years' sales experience in the bearing, power transmission, or gearing industry.
Strong planning, organization and communication skills, including presentation competency.
Travel requirements will vary by region.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially the use of MS Word and Excel
Demonstrated analytical skills
Working knowledge of SAP or logical program language.
Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
