We are looking for an energetic Reference Program Manager to join Mediware’s growing sales operations team. Mediware is building a high performing sales organization to support the growth of a leading healthcare-focused technology company. This role will drive and execute the design, development and implementation of a customer reference program across the portfolio of Mediware’s software and services offerings. Reporting to [to be determined by CS] and working with peers and leaders in sales ops, finance, sales, product managers and customer support, the ideal candidate would have experience similar programs for a software and/or services company. The ability to work collaboratively across a complex internal matrix is essential.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Recruit and manage high-touch reference relationships for strategic customers

  • Create and maintain in-depth customer profiles and contacts

  • Manage reference request fulfillment and track reference activity and outcomes

  • Drive opportunities for promotion and broad-based leverage of customer success assets

  • Interface with sales to support their strategy and advise them on how/when to use references

  • Develop strategies for integrated customer reference engagement plans that showcase customer success via a variety of deliverables including: written, video and peer-to-peer customer stories, quotes, business and technical case studies and slide-ware

  • Increase program adoption and visibility

  • Produce monthly/quarterly reporting and regular communications to stakeholders

  • Report outcome metrics for strategic customer engagement

 

Job Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2+ years experience in sales, sales operations and/or marketing

  • Ability to foster and promote long-term, mutually beneficial customer relationships

  • Ability to understand and articulate the value of the program to a variety of internal and external stakeholder audiences

  • Excellent verbal and written skills

  • Superb presentations and client-facing skills

  • Strong project and program management skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Fluency with the Sales CRM (like Salesforce); 1+ years as a Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce.com Certified Administrator or Developer a plus but not mandatory

  • Experience creating documentation for requirements, design, test, and training

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and organize information, work independently and use good judgment

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others and display diplomatic and strong communication skills with colleagues and internal client stakeholders

  • Self-manage and adapt to changing priorities as needed

  • Adept with multiple software systems and willing to learn new products

  • Location: Kansas City, MO

  • Travel: 10%
