Award winning, high growth multi-state franchisor seeks a Real Estate Manager to join their in-house real estate department. Privately held company with 200 locations currently that is doubling in size! This is a phenomenal opportunity for a true go-getter who loves the thrill of the deal, who is a seasoned negotiator and is looking for a company which is expanding rapidly! This very impactful role will guide franchisees in site selection, work with external real estate professionals to identify potential sites, conduct market research and perform analysis on qualified sites, build business models and analyze financial requirements for potential sites as well as negotiate leases and purchase agreements. This role reports to the Vice President of Real Estate and is based in the corporate office, north of Baltimore, MD. Relocation assistance can be available for highly qualified candidates.
Qualified candidates will have extensive experience and a proven track record of successful commercial real estate site selection, negotiation and approval withexperiencing guiding franchisees in these areas highly preferred. Experiencewith approval of lease structures, business terms, rents and real estate committee approval conditions required. Qualified candidates will also need experience analyzing and evaluating data on a wide variety of real estate matters as well as the ability to oversee and provide insight into the negotiations and lease amendments. This role will require excellent verbal and written communication skills as well the ability to build and nurture strong relationships withnot only the franchise partners but with brokers, developers and lenders as well. A college degree is required.
