Overview:

o   Description:The Radio Release Engineer will be responsible for working with suppliers and other engineering areas to design, develop, and release the international variants of the mid-level touchscreen radio. This will include writing source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables. They will follow, track and root cause build issues found during pre-production builds and vehicle issues found during development. They will also be responsible for issue resolution prior to launch of the program.

o   Requirements:Requirements:

-Fleet Telematics Module Release Engineer- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) from an ABET accredited university. Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) -Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R). Self-motivated with excellent program management, communication skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint -Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the basic qualifications above): Experience in telematics/cellular hardware/software implementation. -Masters degree in Engineering or Business Administration. Knowledge of vehicle serial data communications (CAN). Minimum 1 year of automotive system or component experience . Experience in Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements (DOORs) preferred.

Travel and Driving Requirements:

May be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.
