Basic Qualifications

Candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform the following Systems Radar Design and Analysis assignments:

Demonstrate a strong fundamental understanding of radar and RF systems and associated performance modeling.

Develop RF systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation.

Coordinate vendors and other team members in development of passive/active RF sensor systems for test/evaluation.

Assist in the flow down of radar requirements to testable modular hardware and software.

Define requirements capability for Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware.

Demonstrate capability in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, and signal processing.

Demonstrate mastery of simulation and analysis tools. (MATLAB).

Demonstrate the ability and/or knowledge to develop threat models.

Support trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Ability to obtain an interim security clearance and considered a US Citizen.

Job Description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer for an Orlando FL opportunity to support multiple program efforts. These program initiatives include radar algorithm development and enhancements. The program also includes integrating a guidance section to a missile platform.
The Systems Radar Engineer will work with the missile platform customer under the guidance of the Radar systems Lead to define the radar performance solution as well as support algorithm development and updates to include:
- input into Sensor Simulation,
- support the Real Time Emulator development,
- Sensor Calibration development,
- Radar/Radome Characterization,
- HWIL definition and analysis of integrated solution, and
- flight test predictions and data performance analysis.

The program is expected to perform weapon captive carriage and at least 4 prototype demonstration flight test events.

Simulink experience is of significant benefit.
