Quantitative Research Analyst
We are seeking highly talented Quantitative Researchers with an entrepreneurial spirit to join the strategy research team.
-Work collaboratively with senior quantitative research analysts to develop an understanding of complex financial markets, products, and strategies.
-Analyze financial market data to identify patterns and potential opportunities.
-Develop forecasts and build predictive and profitable trading models.
-Employ in-house tools to perform strategy exploration and optimization.
-Evolve trading strategies and methodologies to improve current systems.
-Problem solvers who are driven, self-motivated, and think creatively.
-Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science).
-3 or more years of experience in a related field or industry.
-Strong problem solving and math skills and attention to detail.
-Programming skills and understanding of basic programming concepts. Experience with C/C++.
-Desire and interest in advancing machine learning within the trading industry.
-Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
-Must be motivated, dependable, and responsible.
-Strong mathematics skills.
-A strong interest in learning and a desire to develop a career in the financial industry.
*We expect PhD level for most Research Analyst or MS with experience. Education background from top schools only, with fields such as Math, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, etc. Looking for Research Analyst from top tier universities with a strong GPA. PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics or engineering is preferred. Will consider Quantitative Research Analyst who have a Master's degree along with work experience. Top universities include Massachusetts Institute of Technology/MIT, Carnegie Mellon University, Princeton University, Harvard University, University of California-Berkeley, Stanford University, University of Chicago, California Institute of Technology, University of California, Los Angeles, Columbia University, New York University, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Yale University, Cornell University, Brown University, etc.
