Quality Process Development Leader at Momentive Performance Materials in Friendly, WV

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality Center of Excellence, this exciting and visible leadership role will be responsible for planning, development and execution of varied high value quality processes across a global region. This position is also responsible for International Management Systems Standards program development and implementation ( ISO 9001, IATF 16949, EFfCI/GMP, etc.) consistent with the company’s objectives. This person will act as a technical expert, providing specific guidance on technical quality matters across the globe via cooperation with global counterparts. This position collaborates closely with many functions and the EHS-OpEx organization to manage and execute projects and to provide support in a manner that addresses business needs. The Quality Process Development Leader is responsible for providing visionary leadership in order to effectively standardize, streamline and continuously improve quality business processes and programs.

Job Description:

• Develop vision and strategy for both short-term and multi-year quality process development and implementation including a holistic framework in which to organize the processes
• Lead IATF 16949 implementation globally to support business needs. Coordinate with site program leaders to ensure consistency and appropriate global solutions are developed, where needed. Provide Project/Program Management for the overall IATF effort including decision making, guidance, solution development, coordination, reporting, communication, tracking and financial responsibility.
• Write and implement management system standards for the global quality processes and integrated management system, as needed
• Develop and implement training to support management system/process development
• Support external and internal quality system audits

May require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk, lift, carry and move light to medium weight. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and learn technical information. Light lifting is required.

Additional Details:

Basic Qualifications:

• BS Degree in relevant technical discipline.
• 10 years’ minimum experience in chemical/industrial environment preferred.
• The leader must have delivered sustainable results in improving quality management systems in their career.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in development of systems to conform with and certify to IATF 16949
• Strong leadership, influencing and decision making skills.
• Proven experience creating an empowered culture.
• Excellent communications skills with both internal and external personnel. Excellent technical writing capability
• Demonstrated leadership ability in a matrix organization.
• Demonstrated ability to generate and drive significant performance and process improvements.
• Strong experience with information management systems (Sharepoint, Gensuite, SAP, etc.)
• Excellent Project/Program Management skills
• Strong experience in development and delivery of training, including adult learning theory principles
• Experience in quality system auditing (internal and external).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in development of systems to conform with and certify to GMP/EFfCI
