Manages and implements the quality management and quality improvement programs for ahealthcare facility. Oversees quality assurance and compliance functions. Ensures programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care.Responsible for monitoring and updating policies and procedures to include regulatory changes. Must have working knowledge of OPPE/FPPE/Peer Review Processes. Relies on extensiveexperience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work ofothers. A widedegree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typicallyreports to a head of a unit/department.
Requires a bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of experience, and is certified as a registered nurse. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Previous experience/knowledge of Risk Management and Patient Advocate processes.
