The Quality Assurance organization has an opportunity for a CIPT QualityLead (QL) within the Program Quality management team. The CIPT is the Component Integrated Product Team, a cross-functional team responsible for execution of program deliverables, primarily at the engine module level.

As a QL, you will lead and support activities to drive improved quality performance of Mature Commercial Programs including the PW4000, PW2000, JT8D, V2500 and GP7000. As the quality representative on this team, the CIPT QL will partner with Engineering and Program and Operational Quality teams to identify opportunities and drive targeted improvements within the manufacturing base (internal and external to P&W).

Additional job responsibilities include:

  • Driving the CIPT quality activities required in applicable stages of the Integrated Program Deployment (IPD) process
  • Supporting the CIPT in attaining product safety, performance, quality, reliability and service life targets
  • Ensuring supplier compliance with requirements flowdown (PO and Drawing) and Process Certification / UPPAP
  • Performing Trend analysis and data driven issue identification
  • Supporting targeted supplier/producer continuous improvement
  • Supporting high impact nonconformance investigations…this is an exciting opportunity to support the flying fleet in a cross-functional setting!

Qualification:

BasicQualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Engineering Quality systems management degree or appropriate manufacturing operations discipline preferred.
  • 7+ years of quality assurance, manufacturing operations, or engineering experience

PreferredQualifications:

  • Creative troubleshooting skills
  • Able to craft clear communications
  • Computer skills- Proficient in Word, Power Point, Excel, Access, Project
  • Possess Excellent Judgement and professional maturity
  • Analytical Skills
  • Participate in Process Improvement efforts
  • Strong desire to succeed and pursue personal growth and developmental opportunities
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, team building and presentation skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated performance of past productivity
  • Broad knowledge of quality, engineering, procurement and manufacturing disciplines
  • Specific knowledge of quality system requirements including AS9100 and continuous improvement methodologies
