  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements

Quality Engineer

Support high-performance materials used in demanding applications—from aerospace to advanced mobility—where precision and reliability are critical.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll own quality initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and drive measurable business impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Own quality performance by partnering with operations, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure consistent product excellence
  • Lead supplier quality efforts—driving issue resolution, improving communication, and ensuring materials meet DuPont standards
  • Investigate and resolve quality incidents, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Support metrology and inspection processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurement systems
  • Drive data-based improvements through analysis, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and maintain robust quality control processes
  • Lead or contribute to RCCA investigations to mitigate risks across customer, supplier, and internal processes
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements
  • Partner on engineering changes, supporting ECN reviews and product documentation updates
  • Support audit readiness and execution, including internal, supplier, customer, and third-party audits

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working within ISO9001, TS16949, or AS9100 quality management systems
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Blueprint reading
    • Inspection methods and metrology
    • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
    • APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans
  • Proven ability to analyze data, solve problems, and drive process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AS13100 and NADCAP
  • Six Sigma certification (preferred)
  • Exposure to aerospace programs (e.g., Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Collins Aerospace)
  • ASQ Quality Engineer certification (or willingness to obtain)
