Quality Engineer 
 

The quality engineer will perform and plan tasks required for part development in terms of quality requirements.?  
 

  • Develop the use of key process indicators to determine process effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, best practices, and drive continuous quality improvement. 
  • Drive corrective, preventive, and closure actions for component issues related to quality  
  • Practical and logical approach to problem-solving, contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Align easily with customer quality requirements by using effective communication skills 
  • Work closely with production line and ensure all necessary controls are enforced to be compliant with ISO requirements. 
  • Must ensure that quality reporting is maintained and documented.  
  • Perform analysis on production data to identify trends and recommend updates  
  • Develop structured documentation (prepared reports) that clearly communicates quality requirements by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and making recommendations

Experience 


Bachelors of Science technical discipline and 2 years minimum experience in a manufacturing/ technical environment or Associates of Science in a technical discipline and 5 years minimum experience in a manufacturing/ technical environment or equivalent. 

Experience driving continuous quality improvement in a manufacturing environment 

 
Skills 

  • Good written and verbal communication skills 
  • Project management skills from concept to production 
  • Work / collaborate with outside vendors and customers  
  • Computer skills, strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications 
  • Working experience within ISO certified companies 
  • Identify, analyze and implement solutions to production issues – problem solver 
  • ERP experience (Visual) 
  • Able to easily integrate and operate in a team environment 
  • Blue print reading and GD&T understanding 
  • Good technical math skills
