As part of the Operations Team, the Quality Engineer will manage a team focusing on product and process control. This is a fast pace environment that emphasizes world class manufacturing. Report to Value Stream Manager within a matrix setting and partner with engineering, operations, and customer care teams. Contribute on Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing events. Apply practical problem solving techniques to lead team in root cause analysis and resolution of complex quality issues. Be a resource on Tollgate and Speed Design Review for new products. Facilitate customer audits, lead corrective actions and prepare KPIs. Seeking a hands-on engineer with upside potential.
REQUIREMENTS: BS degreerequired; CQE or CQA is a plus. Seek 3+ years of quality engineering experience within a best practices machining or fabrication manufacturing setting that uses Six Sigma and DFM. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Must be willing to travel5-10% to customer locations.
REWARD: $80,000 to $90,000 DOE with great benefits package and upside potential
