Description

Great opportunity to join an expanding global leader supplying the automotive industry. Our client is looking for Quality professionals with expertise in ensuring the overall product quality and compliance of QMSISO/ TS16949 standards. Offering competitive compensation, relocation, and long term career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

--- Directly supports facility quality and manufacturing programs (Kaizen, Lean Enterprise, CIP, etc.)

--- Develops and initiates methods, procedures, and tests for inspection, testing, and evaluation of products

--- Involved in Quality-related problem solving - reducing scrap, increasing capability, and productivity

--- Evaluates and reports quality and reliability KPIs to targets

--- Drives process improvements utilizing SPC and provides training for associates

--- Reviews advanced customer and product drawings to determine gaging techniques/ requirements

--- Ensures adherence to AIAG guidelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

--- Interface with OEM customers regarding concerns, complaint management and initiates action to resolve quality problems.

--- Prepares and submits PPAP to OEM Customers

--- Works with suppliers to maintain and improve quality; conducts internal and external (Supplier) audits; provides reports outlining audit results (Supplier Quality Management)

Qualifications:

--- Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering in automotive manufacturing.

--- 2years experience in metal working / machining manufacturing processes (forging, CNC, milling, grinding, etc.)

--- Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and customer specific systems and standards,

--- Training in standards for quality management systems (ISO/TS 16949, VDA, EFQM, CQI, etc.)

--- Application of QMS tools and techniques (APQP, FMEA, inspection planning, SPC, DOE etc.).

--- ASQC Certified Quality Engineer certification and Lead Auditor Training in TS Standard desired

--- Experience with Minitab and MS Office Tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

--- Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.
