Quality Control/Customer Support Supervisor (2621-LAD)
We are searching for an individual with a background in engineering or
science to join our client's team in a new role.
In this role you will supervise three areas: Quality Control, Customer
Support and Repairs.

Up to $100K salary, commensurate with skills and experience
You will almost undoubtedly have a degree in Electrical Engineering,
Physics, or Semi-Conductors
-Strong technology background. Your educational background
is coupled with professional experience in hard engineering or
science. You have very good knowledge of electronics and
central processing units (CPUs). A background in thin-film
deposition, while not required, would be a great asset.
-Excellent communication skills.
WHAT YOU ARE CURRENTLY DOING
-You might currently be running a semi-conductor lab doing
thin film deposition, maintaining the lab, talking with
vendors and customers, trouble-shooting equipment.
-You might be working for a semi-conductor manufacturer
like Intel in process control, responsible for 2-3
semi-conductor machines, maintaining and troubleshooting them.
-You might be a masters or postdoctoral student in a
research lab working with metrology tools.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
-Monitor production for quality. You will monitor the
products that are being delivered to customers. You will
ensure that products are properly documented.
-Make sure that repairs are being addressed in a timely
fashion. You will not personally do the repairs, but you will
ensure that they are getting done properly and without undue
-Take charge of customer support. You will not be a
customer support specialist, but you will probably be the
first person with whom customers speak. So you will need to
become a product expert over time.
