Kforce is working with a client in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (PA) to hire a permanent Quality Assurance Manager.


As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be responsible for the testing and analysis across multiple platforms including, but limited to, web, mobile, Microsoft Dynamics AX, ESP, etc. You'll work closely with all the members of the software development team and Business Stakeholders to ensure functional and business logic to meet the agreed upon project and business requirements. You will lead a QA team that will build QA standards, processes, reports used on projects and monitor team's practices, and quality control.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage a quality assurance team
  • Lead the development of quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and / or enhancements to existing applications and products throughout the development lifecycle
  • Create / maintain / review software documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and to identify and mitigate risks
  • Document software defects in a manner consistent with the agreed upon documentation scheme and reports defects to the project team and clients as appropriate
  • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential project risks
  • Keep detailed records of testing procedures and results; communicates these findings to other team members and the client as appropriate
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential areas of improvement in the Quality Assurance department
  • Manage end-to-end quality assurance and testing projects, schedules, tasks and deliverables
  • Effectively communicate quality issues and recommendations to improve quality to senior level IT management


  • 7+ years of service delivery with background in technology testing, automation, performance, and mobileexperience
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in end to end test planning for a product
  • Experience with batch job monitoring tools
  • Experience as a Team Lead for up to 5 performance testers / QA Analyst
  • Experience with writing standard operating procedures
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Scriptingexperience with white / gray / black box and automation test methods
  • Candidates must have experience with E-Commerce, direct to consulting, direct marketing, or retail businesses
  • Knowledge of .NET, XML / HTML, JavaScript, Python, Java, C / C / C#, SQL
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with test plan creating, unit, integration, and functional testing techniques
  • Demonstrated experience with Performance Testing using industry standard testing/monitoring tools results analysis, provides recommendations, reporting, mentoring of team members
  • Performance Testing experience with Remote App, Citrix, Web, Web Services, Mobile Web protocols
  • Skilled at leading meetings, documenting test deliverables, and providing status updates to management
