Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Grand Prairie, TX, is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer. Experience level for this position is 5 years with a Bachelors degree (or 3 years with a Masters degree).

Quality Engineers at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control act as an integrated member of the design and production teams developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products.
To ensure our customer get the highest level of Quality, our Quality Engineers review documentation related to internal manufacturing processes to ensure requirements are fulfilled.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or STEM field
Ability to obtain or currently hold an active secret security clearance
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications that will enable development and review of Processes, and related Performance Metrics
Demonstrated ability to resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex
Ability to work well and lead teams in an interdisciplinary environment
Excellent communications skills to interface with subordinates, peers, supervisors, subcontractors, and customers
Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening and technical writing
Knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS)
Experience with use of inspection gages, test and measuring equipment in manufacturing environments
The candidate must have advanced Mechanical and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) skills
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
SAP application experience
CMM programming (Calypso, Modus or similar software)
Experience in Polyworks and VxElements
Experience with laser/structured light scanners and vision inspection methods, inspection process development, and/or troubleshooting CMMs
Experience leading projects and teams Planning new mechanical and integrated system production lines
Ability to develop, apply, and analyze effectiveness of quality methods
Ability to proactively review and develop documentation / drawing for compliance with requirements
