What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Burlington, VT as a Quality Analyst. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties assisting the Quality Manager & Chief Inspector in administration and compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) per PWES, ISO 9002 and AS9110 requirements. This will include the review, implementation and revision of PWES documentation, forms, and procedures (ASP's). The selected candidate will travel up to 10% of the time for training and support of other sites in the network as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead/coach teams through use of CORE, RCCA, QAT, and other Process Improvement tools.
Assist site Chief Inspectors in conducting ROM (Risk and Opportunity Management), SRAs/SRMs Assessments, (Product Safety Risk assessments for SMS program), completing checklists and performing risk analysis.
Conduct QMS compliance audits of processes, procedures, records. Recommend corrective actions and process improvements in response to audit findings, therefore mitigating future issues/risks.
Analyze and maintain KPI metrics that impact Quality and develop recommendations for improving compliance with internal standards.
Review, analyze, and determine root cause for reported non-conformities.
Investigate and recommend preventive actions to resolve problems regarding non-conformities identified through Corrective Action Requests (CAR's).
Prepares and maintains Quality systems (documentation, processes and training).
Monitor spoiled work database collection system, sort and prioritize data to target areas for investigations that will lead to preventive actions and reduction of non-quality costs.
Conduct Process Audits and assessments; review processes identified by QA as ineffective or incorrect and provide recommendations for improvement.
Troubleshoot, research, and investigate questions and situations concerning Quality in the shop and Quality issues from customers.

Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role (QA Analyst, QA Coordinator, Quality Inspector, Quality Engineering, or related position) within Aviation, Aerospace, Automotive, Defense or similar regulated industry; OR an Associates Degree/Certification and a minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience, OR in lieu of a post high-school degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant industry experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree in STEM field is preferred
Previous auditing experience
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma)
Previous experience with the repair, inspection, assembly, and/or test of turbo prop and/or turbo fan engine models
SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
