We look for energetic, adaptable, out-of-the-box thinkers who are passionate about improving the way the world learns. The Research & Data Analyst will work on our Insights Team. The Insights Team is a group of talented researchers passionate about conducting excellent qualitative and quantitative primary and secondary research to help impact the strategy and future of Bisk.   What You’ll Do

  • Implement qualitative research solutions to answer research questions that arise from quantitative research initiatives that will result in high quality, impactful insights and solutions
  • Conduct secondary research and develop academic research reports around technologies and other aspects that impact the consumer's interaction with Bisk
  • Plan and conduct interviews in person, by phone, and by video to develop an understanding of the consumer and ways to improve their interactions with Bisk
  • Conduct qualitative research to drive persona development, map user journeys, and document user needs
  • Connect qualitative research learnings with other business and enterprise-wide initiatives to infuse research findings into the company initiatives
  • Observe and record customer behaviors and sentiments as they interact with our products/websites
  • Develop strategic insights from customer feedback, academic research, and an understanding of the company’s relative strengths and weaknesses in the market.
  • Work collaboratively with quantitative researchers to integrate qualitative and quantitative insights to inform corporate strategy

  What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s in Psychology, Social Science, Market Research, Anthropology or related field
  • 3+ years of conducting qualitative research (i.e., one-on-one interviews, focus groups, ideation sessions, workshop facilitation, usability studies, ethnographic research, etc.)
  • Writing portfolio to illustrate writing, editing and content development abilities
  • The ability to present findings to individuals at every level within the company and to external stakeholders
  • Must have experience facilitating/moderating in one-on-one and group settings; must be comfortable adjusting to in-the-moment changes and incorporating team and client feedback into moderation
  • Proficiency with Excel and the use of pivot tables
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and project management skills

  • Knowledge of basic statistical tests
  • Working knowledge of Agile
