You will be expected to lead the effort to build/support and maintain a new automated test frameworks and/or extend existing frameworks for UI, ETL and Oracle database. These frameworks should assist in performing end-to-end business process/UAT testing in multi-component environments. You will work with the test engineers/vendor teams and business to design and develop a reusable architecture for test automation and perform other testing-related duties as required.

Responsibilities / Experience

Automation Testing:

  • Plan and implement the full set of test automation suite (unit, integration and UI tests) create, maintain and execute automated tests
  • Develop and extend in-house Test Automation tools and test framework
  • Provide input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes
  • Work with both in-house and vendor testing teams and align with the work-stream based development teams
  • Collaborate and coordinate test activities with business users,  IT team & vendor resources across countries and time zone
  • Assist IT application team in achieving quality objectives by identifying defects and deficiencies early and providing feedback for continuous process improvement

Experience / Exposure

Technical Skills:

  • Good QA Automation scripting experience, preferably with UFT/Java; Good SQL knowledge
  • Strong experience in software development process, models, testing lifecycles and methodologies, with particular emphasis on Agile methodology
  • Excellent skills in Test planning, designing and execution
  • Good communication and coordination skills with multiple supporting groups
  • Good debugging and analytical skills
  • Exposure to BDD (Behavior Driven Development) process and tools
  • Knowledge of white/black box level testing, system and performance testing of applications using industry standard practices and tools

 Other Skills:

  • HP ALM /  UFT, VBSCript , Excel Macro
  • Selenium WebDriver
  • Continuous Integration: TeamCity or Jenkins
  • Version Control Tool: Git, SVN
  • Oracle Database

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Relevant work experience in software development / testing and support with hands-on in Test Automation
  • Banking domain experience will be advantage.
