Vodori is looking for a QA Specialist to become an integral part of our software engineering team. As our QA Specialist, you will be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing QA best practices and ensuring end-to-end system quality across multiple client applications. Reporting to a QA Manager, we would like our next QA Specialist to have 1-4 years of relevant experience. We hope you can bring ideas from previous experiences and a thirst for new knowledge to help make an immediate impact on our team!
In this role, you will work in between both the business and development teams. You will need to be a master at translating information between these functions by having a sound understanding of how software works, how it is built, and what that means for our end users. You’ll find it advantageous to have a foundational understanding of web application infrastructure, databases, networks, and web services. Also, some exposure to common programming and scripting languages will go a long way - our software primarily uses Java and JavaScript frameworks, and our automated tests are primarily written in Ruby and run on Selenium-based drivers.
At Vodori, our successful QA Specialists are always looking to create repeatable processes around quality control. You are curious, inquisitive, and solution-oriented. It excites you to figure out why something is broken and what needs to be done to fix it. We have a small team at Vodori, so we want someone in this role who is passionate about challenging themselves at work every day!

  • Conduct skilled exploratory testing to unveil likely edge cases and system limitations
  • Estimate test coverage needs for upcoming development work
