QA Engineer at Custom Ink in Miami, FL

You’ll be a significant contributor in the Tech-platform QA team, delivering quality products by thorough testing and follow QA best practices and standards.

What you’ll do:

Our Technology Platforms team works proactively to solve challenges associated with a growing, high-volume, customer-driven e-commerce and retail business. In this role, you’ll develop and execute test strategies for e-commerce related programs. You’ll work independently, while also collaborating with our Project Managers, Engineers, and QA Manager to help develop, execute manual and automated test cases based on a published set of technical requirements.

You’ll engage in test preparation like test case writing, identifying edge cases, incorporate updates to documents to stay current while adhering to QA best practices in test case writing, execution and defect logging/tracking, and other documentation processes. You’ll also serve as a point of contact for production tickets, conduct research, triage appropriately, and follow up until closure of an issue.

• You demonstrate ownership of solutions delivered by troubleshooting issues and provide support to the Engineering team proactively as well as reactively

What we’re looking for:

• Track record of delivering high-quality products/systems
• 5+ years of experience with overall manual QA/manual testing
• 1+ year of writing/execution of automated test script is a must
• Experience in testing Web-based applications
• Ability to perform requirements analysis and create meaningful test cases, automated scripts
• Testing main and alternate flows, complex business rules, database checks using SQL queries, cross-browser, and testing experience with mobile devices
• Test case writing, defect logging/tracking, and problem-solving skills
• Must have worked in Agile setups and have participated in Sprint Planning, Story grooming, and Stand-Up sessions
• Experience with software version control such as GIT and /or SVN
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Zendesk, and TestRail is a plus
