Job Details: Bachelor's degree is required.
4-5 years experience in medical office or hospital setting.
Computer skills are required.
Customer service skills are required.

Responsible for the supervision of all Materials Management functions, including the Purchasing, Storeroom, Receiving, Distribution, Print Shop, or any other area as required. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of systems to assure optimum interaction between Purchasing, Materials Management and all customers.  Assures ongoing communication and problem identification and resolution between all Materials Management departments. Directs, schedules, supervises, and coordinates the activity of department personnel to assure all functions and customer needs are maintained.  Responsible for the acquisition of all products and equipment that yields the most advantageous cost/value relationship. Initiates, manages, and is responsible for maintaining all department expense and capital budgeting requirements. Coordinates all activities for the Value Analysis Committee including financial analysis, product trials and evaluations.  Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization; must possess excellent writing, interpersonal communication and judgment skills; also requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.  Must be a results oriented problem solver.



Required: Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field


Experience & Skills:

Preferred:4 years of work experience in health care environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Meditech MM, and e-commerce.
