Blanc & Otus is seeking a public relations Director (Senior Vice President equivalent) to lead integrated communications campaigns for a leading, global enterprise technology client. As a Director with B&O you will:

  • Serve as the client lead on a key B2B technology account, managing client contacts and internal B&O teams to execute client objectives and maintain client satisfaction 
  • Lead, manage and inspire the best junior staff in town, overseeing the overall account, day-to-day account work and individual client programs
  • Act as a storyteller, shaping the client narrative to secure media placements
  • Maintain strong relationships with key technology/business journalists and influencers
  • Lead client strategy and planning
  • Actively contribute to the agency’s growth by participating in the new business process and agency initiatives from marketing, to social and event planning
  • Work closely with B&O CEO
  • Contribute your unique ideas and personality to the vibrant B&O culture

  • Minimum 10-15 years’ PR/strategic communications experience; agency experience a must
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong technology background with an detailed understanding of the enterprise tech space
  • A firm grasp of the tech media landscape and a solid bench of key media contacts
  • Management experience working with direct reports on day-to-day account management and career development initiatives
  • Track record of success leading and executing PR/communications programs to achieve a client’s objectives
  • Proven success in building and maintaining strong relationships with client contacts
  • Able to communicate with charisma and ease in a variety of forums including client meetings and new business pitches
  • Superb writing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
  • Digital & social media savvy
  • Passion, tenacity and enthusiasm for the B&O brand
