The Facebook Security Policy team is dedicated to identifying, tracking, and countering adversarial threat actors that seek to use our platforms to mislead users or cause harm. This work includes understanding the risks we face, crafting policies that govern acceptable use of our platforms, and working with partners across Facebook to build detection and enforcement regimes to counter threats and keep people safe.
We are looking for a Public Policy Manager for Cybersecurity Policy to work directly with our Director of Security Policy, our Account Integrity teams, our infosec teams, and our investigators to protect our users from adversarial actors. This role will focus on account security and integrity, protecting users from direct targeting by politically- and financially-motivated threat actors. This role will help assess the nature of the cybersecurity risks faced by our users and systems. This person will coordinate the development of defensive systems and disruptions of cybersecurity threat actors, and ensure that we have the tools and policies in place to stay ahead of these threats. This role will also represent Facebook with key stakeholders in government, civil society, and industry. They will bridge the technical work of our teams with the human and policy impact, and will have a chance to shape products used by billions of people.
