TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design public participation and stakeholder engagement processes online and in person using a variety of methodologies appropriate to contexts and aimed at diversity, equity and inclusion goals
Develop and implement communication strategies to reach, mobilize and inform target audiences using a variety of tools and channels
Facilitate, in both French and English, meetings, workshops, consultation meetings and public sessions using facilitation methods adapted to the needs, contexts and target audiences
Conduct research and analysis on a variety of topics, including the profile, needs, interests, perceptions of communities and stakeholders
Write reports of various types for clients and the public
Ensure project management, respecting deadlines and budgets
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders involved in mandates
Ensure regular communication with clients and relay information to members of internal teams involved in mandates
Participate in new business development strategies, in the process of prospecting mandates, in the development and writing of service offers and in the presentation of services to potential clients
Support, through networking activities, the organization's visibility efforts, its P2 expertise and its various services
Contribute to the organization's efforts to remain innovative and on the lookout (research, reading, conferences, training, identification and integration of new participation and communication tools)

We are looking for motivated and autonomous candidates, showing leadership, rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis, openness, listening and tolerance to stress. Relationship skills, the ability to work in a team, and diplomacy are also essential, as are excellent communication skills orally and in writing, in French and English.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES
Undergraduate degree: communication, political science or social science, urban planning, environment, management or other relevant field
Graduate degree in a relevant field is an asset
Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a public participation, community relations or stakeholder engagement position
Experience in facilitating public sessions and groups of various types and sizes
Public participation and group facilitation training considered an asset
Knowledge of the strategies and digital tools available to facilitate public participation
Superior writing / editing skills with a demonstrated ability to synthesize and popularize complex content and write documents intended for the general public
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
Business acumen and mastery of commercial practices in the field of consulting services
Ability to manage budgets
Ability to independently establish direct contacts with clients and stakeholders in mandates
