Lochner, a national transportation engineering and planning firm, is currently seeking a full time public involvement team manager for its Salt Lake City, Utah office. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field are preferred.
We are looking for a bright, creative, and energetic individual who is enthusiastic about leading an established public involvement team with existing workload with government, agency and community groups in a variety of settings. We are looking for candidates that have strong relationships with various government clients and the leadership skills to continue to grow and build our public involvement team.
The candidate must have strong writing, editing, and oral communication skills, be detail and task oriented, and able to lead and manage a team.
Individuals who are experienced in communicating with the public, managing client relationships, handling multiple projects, and business development in the public involvement market sector are preferred.
10+ years of Public Involvement Experience with meeting facilitation, public speaking, and face-to-face communication skills is a required.
Graphic design skills are needed including experience with the following software programs: Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint, Macromedia Dreamweaver, and Adobe Photoshop.
