Exciting things are happening for Ameresco in California! Ameresco has a unique opportunity for a Proposal and Marketing Professional to serve as the proposal lead for pursuit teams with responsibility to produce pre-qualification documents, proposals, and presentation materials to ensure winning proposals (RFQ, SOQ, Technical Documents, etc). Additionally, the right candidate will offer marketing support for growth initiatives in the State. The selected candidate will report to either our office in Brea, CA or Phoenix, AZ. Select qualified remote candidates may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Overall preparation (lead, develop and produce) of energy conservation and renewable energy proposals as assigned to ensure all deadlines are met and the proposal package is complete.

Coordinate the development and maintenance of information databases (CRM, resumes, images) to facilitate proposal preparation.

Assist in the preparation of marketing material and presentations for client interviews/presentations.

Participate in client debriefings on both successful and unsuccessful pursuits and distribute lessons learned to improve proposal process, systems. and product.

Lead the preparation of award applications, case studies, onsite event logistics, letters of recommendation, etc.

Assist in market research, as needed.

Assist in cultivating new avenues of proposal lead development.

Update and monitor the proposal calendar and database tracking project status.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related dicipline.

Minumum of 5 years engineering, construction, energy-related proposal development and production experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with all MS Office™ products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) SharePoint, Office 365

Superior technical writing skills and knowledge of the RFQ, RFP, proposal process required

Strong knowledge of Adobe™ Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) required

Graphic design capabilities preferred

Highly organized

Work well independently or in a team environment

Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to respond quickly and effectively under pressure and deadlines.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently in an unfamiliar environment.

Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced work setting.

Valid Drivers' License issued by state of residence and in good standing.

Some travel may be required.
