Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic direction and drive proposal development operations, presentations and communications to produce high-quality marketplace proposals.
  • Manage and direct the efforts of the Proposal Center Team to ensure proposal center processes are followed, standard PCG style guide is used, and documents are submitted in accordance with established criteria.
  • Manage all aspects of proposal operations (workplans, proposal writing, editing, illustration, production efforts, etc.) from assignment and receipt of RFP, through delivery and receipt by customer.
  • Coordinate the internal flow and review of proposal content which includes supporting the maintenance and development of new content for the content library, leveraging competitive intelligence/ proposal metrics reports for business development efforts, and supporting the bid/no bid process.
  • Provide direction and content on strategic proposals, including development of strategic win themes and discriminators and copy editing as required.
  • Coordinate, assign or lead major proposal meeting events or milestones including initial outreach, proposal analysis, kick off, writing efforts, and final production.
  • Facilitate the receipt of all proposal materials with authors and teaming partners in accordance with the proposal timeline, which includes acting as a liaison with corporate departments to ensure compliance and assisting with internal policies and procedures.
  • Enables an effective alert system to bring awareness to the entire proposal team when a proposal deadline slips and creates risk or extraordinary effort to the proposal.
  • Works with management and leadership to proactively deliver compliant qualified proposals and strategies.
  • Assists in production ,proofreading, and editing functions as required.
  • Builds sustentative relationships with business teams.
  • Develops boilerplate templates, styles, templates, resumes, company factoids and database of references.
  • Develops and implements a continual process improvement plan to adapt to the marketplace and support the efforts of the team.
  • Conduct and develop trainings and resources related to the proposal development process and the Expedience proposal automation software.
  • Recommend and implement infrastructure improvements and assist with SharePoint updates.
  • Facilitate team engagement and career development goals for the team.
  • Support data integrity and other KPIs as established by the Director of Health Internal Administration.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or 6 years’ experience required.

Experience: 6+ year experience developing, bidding, and winning public sector management consulting services

Certification: Certified Proposal Management Professional (CPP APMP) preferred.

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $100,000 - $120,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
