We are a leading property manager with a portfolio of more than 30,000 units of high-quality housing. We are now seeking a Property Manager to join our team in the San Fernando Valley.

As the Property Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing the leasing and administrative aspects of our community in San Fernando Valley as they relate to healthy finances and the residents.
In this vital, operational role, you will ensure safe keeping of deposits, manage the late rent and any eviction activities, and process all documentation relating to rental agreements.
Maintaining an awareness of California state law, you?ll process payables and work with external parties to ensure they operate within company standards.
You will manage office staff, communicate targets, opportunities and work to them and ensure they are delivering great levels of service to residents.
The properties you will oversee consist of 80 scattered units of between one and three units per building across the San Fernando Valley and 35 additional unit scattered across the Los Angeles area.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Vast knowledge of HUD regulations, such as program eligibility criteria, forms, policies, and procedures
- Experiencewith Yardi software
- The ability to assist with all aspects of property management functions
- Familiarity with tenant-landlord law for the State of California
- Strong interviewing skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to perform accurate mathematical computations
- The ability to maintain confidential information of residents and residents? files
- A high level of IT literacy
- The ability to assist with all aspects of the recertification function
- A high school diploma or GED, ideally some college
Flexible and organized, as the Property Manager, you must be highly professional and respectful with excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Tact and mature judgement are a must, as is a dependable nature, teamwork skills and integrity.
Public Housing and/or Project Based Section 8experience is highly preferred.
