As Project Scheduling Manager for our Site C Powerhouse project, you will have the opportunity to work on an exciting, high profile project. This position will be site based on a 2 weeks on and 1 week off roster. 

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Operations, Owners, and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems
  • Lead & Manage the development of working schedules for Estimating, prior to proposal date, which sufficiently illustrate the sequence of work activities and contract time
  • Prepare and issue proposal and preliminary schedule
  • Incorporate Resource and/or Cost Loading data into schedules as required
  • Serve as technical advisor for the solution of difficult production problems
  • Consult the appropriate project team members and estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work
  • Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule
  • Identify scheduling software training needs among employees and provide training when necessary; remain current on the advancements in scheduling software
  • Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
  • Understand all contract requirements relating to the project schedule
  • Prepare schedule updates along with a narrative for submission to the owner
  • Prepare time impact analysis for any owner caused delays
  • Maintains knowledge of Flatiron’s company values and strategic plan
  • Support published corporate policies
  • Perform additional assignments per management’s direction

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution and 10 years constructionschedulingexperience
  • Experience working as Scheduling Manager on projects in excess of $300m
  • Previous experience as a project lead or supervisor
  • Previous experiencescheduling for heavy civil construction projects is required
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
