Project / Program Manager, Global Security
As a member of Alight Global Security?s (AGS) Business Planning and Operations team, this position will manage programs and projects, providing end-to-end management of AGS' project management, procurement, and budgeting management processes. The nature of the projects could be of varying complexity, often requiring considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The role also requires the ability to identify and drive process improvement. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to identify organizational problems and opportunities, and find ways to solve them utilizing the Alight Operating System

As a Project/Program Manager, a typical day to include the following:
Provide oversight of assigned Projects and Programs for AGS, leveraging industry best practice for project and program management;
?Develop project plans with team partners and manage execution of project tasks as defined in the plan in order to achieve the project goals;
?Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders;
?Project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, and communications management as part of the day-to-day management of projects and programs for AGS Responsible for managing/ recording detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter;
?Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project riskevents in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project;
?Create and maintain project and program budgets in collaboration with GSM and subject matter experts on the AGS team;
?Improve team performance by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating in order to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale;
?Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with others;
?Communicates information and ideas in a manner that drives understanding;

?Able to manage and partner with3rd party vendor project resources;
?Assist in processing of supplier forms, invoices, and other documentation such as master service agreements, statements of work, and invoices.
?Analyze processes and drive process improvement by using and advocating the Alight Operating System
?Bachelor?s degree and/or equivalent work experiencerequired;
?6-10 years project management experience
?12+ years of professional work experience
?PMP Certification a plus;
?Proficient Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Project Management best practices, process and tools;
?Experience communicating effectively with both internal colleagues, leadership, contractors and third-parties
?Ability to create presentations and write business cases for senior leadership;
?Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities;
?Project budgeting/costing expertise;
?Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations;
?Interpersonal skills to support team building: Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among team members;
?Ability to establish alliances with other departments and organizations through recognition of dependencies, driving partnership and commitment to the tower;
?Analytical with excellent attention to detail;
?Understanding of Procurement and AP processes a plus;
?Strong skill with Microsoft Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, Project);
?Strong SharePoint development and utilization;
?Experience with Coupa a plus:
? Understanding of Finance/Accounting concepts a plus.
