Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager.

In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for providing a positive employee and manager experience through consistent operational excellence. The HRSC by providing collaborating with senior leaders, managers, and staff in the clinical, education, and research mission areas, as well as corporate services, to enable the organization to achieve its vision of becoming a world class, patient-centered, integrated academic medical center. The HR Solutions Center spearheads leadership of HR Committees, drives the One HR transformation initiative, promotes cross-departmental collaboration and training, and serves as a catalyst to create a more strategic HR that anticipates employee needs and provide organizational business solutions.

The Project Manager operates as a senior internal consultant responsible for delivering a full spectrum of Project Management services at the HR Organization Level with NYULH. The Project Manager is seen as a critical role within large scale HR transformational projects and reports to the Sr. Director, HR Solutions Center. The Project Manager will support projects for HR Solutions Center as well as projects across HR related to the transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a project planner, the project manager creates a detailed work plan that identifies and sequences activities to be completed.
• Defines the scope and objectives of the project in collaboration with the senior management.
• Determines the resources required to complete the project and ensures all the resources are allocated effectively.
• Implements the project according to the plan- monitors the progress of the project, makes any necessary adjustments and reviews the quality of the completed work on a regular basis.
• Informs the stakeholders on the progress of the project.
• Ensures the project is completed on time, within the budget and at the required quality level.
• Manages and reports on risks and ways to mitigate risks on various projects.
• Responsible for Change Control and Scope Management of the Project.
• Organizes meetings and follow ups to close out action items and business requirements on next steps for the project.
• Organizes, minutes and project coordinates the action items from team meetings
• Collaborates with SMEs on the project to manage the core project team output and deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

.To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Process Redesign etc.

Certification and/or experience with cutting-edge approaches to organizational transformation e.g. Prosci Methodology, Kotter, AIM, Lean, Six-Sigma, a plus.

Must also demonstrate:

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or a Master’s Degree in any related field is preferred.

PMP, Agile-Scrum certified, preferred

Experience in Human Resources, Finance, Corporate Services preferred.
