A global financial firm is seeking a Project Manager who specializes in Windows Migrations. This candidate will assist with migrating all Divisions from Windows7 to Windows10 before January 2020. 


  • Global deployment of a Division to Windows10
  • Engage with senior business leaders to develop the strategy for their migrations to Windows10 
  • Project manage the migration of one or multiple Divisions to Windows10 
  • Create and manage a deployment plan per Division 
  • Provide Division requirements to the Regional Deployment Leads and the Deployment vendor 
  • Liaise with the Migration Planning Data Analyst to derive user lists and software licensing requirements 
  • Schedulepilot, UAT and full scale migrations with the Division Lead and Regional Deployment Leads 
  • Work with the Division and training team to ensure users are trained in advance of their migration 
  • Act as the first escalation point of contact for global Division deployment issues 
  • Provide updates to the Global Project Manager, Division Engagement Lead and PMO 
  • Adhere to the Reporting schedules set by the Program 
  • Provide communication updates to stakeholders in a timely manner 
  • Task management of the Migration engineers 


  • 7+ years? project management experience
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships with stakeholders across geographical & functional boundaries with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to build productive partnerships and professional relationships at a senior-level of the organization
  • Experience of leading technology migration projects and understand the complexities and issues that result from such initiatives 
  • Ability to clearly articulate objectives, requirements and risks and issues
  • Prior experience working in financial services or consulting firm required
  • Experience working on desktop transformation Programs previously
  • Strong Microsoft Project, Excel and Powerpoint skills
