Our team is looking for a qualified, self-motivated Project Manager experienced in Water Resources. WHAT YOU'LL DO...
  • Work as a lead designer on water resource projects.
  • Interact with clients, explaining scope and requirements at the clients' comfort level.
  • Provide direction and assistance throughout the project life cycle.
  • Help the client understand how changes impact the project budget.
  • Develop and supervise engineering work of municipal water, wastewater and stormwater projects.
  • Conduct planning studies, guide design and construction phases of the project.
  • Prepare preliminary engineering reports that meet the requirements of various funding agencies.
  • Prepare bidding documents for municipal public works projects.
  • Determine the scope of work involved and plan, lead and supervise the engineering work of the project team.
  • Provide municipal engineering expertise to other individuals and work groups within the firm, which may involve the adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
  • Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate engineering projects that have unique and complex criteria.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate and direct large and important projects of major scope and importance.
  • Lead and supervise technical team members.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • 6 years of relevant, progressive experience in the civil engineering industry, with an emphasis on stormwater projects.
  • Professional Engineering License in Indiana (or the ability to obtain licensure in the Indiana through reciprocity).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically, manage time and problem solve.
  • Strong data analysis and organizational skills.
  • Complete competence working well independently and on a team.
  • Applicant must possess high ethical standards, have a strong sense of commitment to self-development, teamwork, and a desire to work in a deadline-driven team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
  • Ability to oversee permit approvals for environmental, floodplain and stormwater projects.
  • Experience with sewer system modeling software and analysis of separate and combined systems.
