Job Description

Smartronix, Inc. is an information technology and engineering solutions provider specializing in Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Health IT, Network Operations, and Mission-Focused Engineering. The Project Managersupports all facets of system integration and technical supportprocesses, including: migration, integration, test, and development of applications. Provide support for environment that facilitates system development and testing across AF Capabilities Integration Environment and the Global Combat Support System (GCSS)-AF.

This individual shall provide expertise to facilitate integrating, developing, migrating, and testing mission applications/services in the Capabilities Integration Environment (CIE) and other development/testing facilities. The ideal candidate will be able to apply expertise necessary to support application/service developers among a variety of Air Force mission applications. This individual will automate tasks within the CIE and across the mission application/services being supported. While most of this effort will be to support systems within the CIE, it may also required to support applications/services being developed or maintained in other locations, such as commercial and government cloud computing providers. This position will actively support the day-to-day technical operation of the CIE, including installation, configuration, and operation of computer servers, communications networking equipment, and storage devices provided by the Government used to support testing, performance engineering, development, and integration under this task order. Additionally, this individual shall migrate, integrate, test, develop, configure, install, operate, and maintain customer-supported AIS’s in the CIE’s and cloud providers' various zones, and to provide On-call and After Hours support services during non-operating hours, weekends and holidays, as required.

Required Skills

  • Very familiar with Oracle, IBM, Microsoft and open source vendor technology stacks: WebLogic/Oracle RDBMS, WebSphere, IIS/SQL Server and their open source analogs; can take manual installation/configuration documentation and processes then apply skills to automate tasks that need to be repeated in internal enclave and cloud-based environments
  • Candidate should be a self-starter, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision; a team player that can pass knowledge on to fellow teammates to expand corporate knowledge and eliminate single points of contention
  • Puppet, Ansible, Shell & Python scripting

Required Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 10 years' experience in systems integration, administration and script development. Abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and developments in enterprise automation.
  • Secret Clearance
  • Security+
  • STIG/SCAP scanning and remediation experience
