What you'll be doing:
Serve as the centralized communication point for all CDS projects initiated by Sales/Clients to ensure that team members receive timely and appropriate project information.
Identify and communicate roles and responsibilities at the beginning of all projects to ensure deliverables and timelines have been established correctly on the front end of the project.
Prioritize, expedite and escalate projects accordingly. Leverage resources within CDS when needed.
Frequent Client interface to manage expectations and communicate project status.
Effectively train and guide clients on submitting the project requests and expected outcomes to effectively drive our project management process throughout hospitality custom business.
Obtain incoming start-up information through Salesforce.com scope of work is clearly identified and timelines can be achieved.
Conducts status update meetings as needed.
Manages the team’s activities by clearly defining the objectives and expected outcomes.
Works closely with resources needed, CDS, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Product Technology, to ensure project outcomes are successful.
Assist Clients and our Sales Reps in successful kickoff calls for projects as needed.
Work closely with the Functional Manager regarding staff and resources required to successfully complete projects.
Extensive Design and Estimating Experience within the carpet industry is a huge plus
Ability to read architectural plans.
3-5 years previous project management experience is preferred.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
