The Sales Operations team supports our Local Sales team of 400+ reps to acquire and retain great merchants onto our platform. Team members are passionate individuals who are eager to build relationships across the company and make an impact at Groupon. Comprised of Sales Rep Analytics, Tools and Process Improvement, Sales Transformation, Communication and Recognition, Lead Management, and Merchant Marketing, Sales Operations works closely together to ensure reps and managers have a consistent, informed, and high-energy environment to achieve their sales goals.

As a Project Manager on our Sales Operations team, you'll serve as a motivated and inspiring leader focused on ushering in cross-functional initiatives for our sales organization. You'll apply sound business judgment, use your premier strategy & operations chops, use data-driven insights to deliver strategic plans, and use your skills to, directly and indirectly, influence partners in order to make things happen.

You'll spend time on the following:

  • Support sales verticals and business partners with insights, tools, and project management support that lead to actionable and efficient strategic results
  • Evangelize a data-first approach in measuring success: establish reporting and analytics, tracking and monitoring of improvements against key performance metrics
  • Use data and business priorities to understand the size and scale of requests to recommend a course of action for partners
  • Interpret insights and visualize implementation within toolset while understanding boundaries of technical solution and priorities
  • Assist in strategy development and operational planning including project plans, analysis, and ad hoc requests
  • Document existing business processes and recommend enhancements to maximize value-driven activities for the sales team
  • Improve efficiency and automation for sales reps day to day job functions to create a focused approach to continuously improving core processes while actively identifying and eliminating efficiency gaps

We're excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferred degree in business
  • 3-5+ years of project management or operations experience
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and process mapping software (Lucid Chart, Visio, etc) are a plus
  • You have intermediate Excel experience
  • You are comfortable working in a cross-functional role
  • You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills required
  • You are a self-starter, fast learner, and adaptive to working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly pivot
  • You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability and confidence to succinctly convey complex information to senior management
  • You have the capacity for creative problem solving and strategic thinking
