The Deployment Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the successful deployment of Professional Services Automation software and business processes to our business users.  The Project Manager will leverage change management expertise to plan and lead business process changes within the organization.

Essential Duties:

Project Management:

  • Develop and execute deployment project plans
  • Manage scope, objectives, and deliverables for the project
  • Partner with RSM Technology Project Managers and IT Project Managers to integrate deployment projects and technology projects related to the deployment of PSA
  • Develop and manage the project schedule and resources required to complete work
  • Identify and manage issue and risks
  • Provide status reports to various stakeholders and sponsors throughout the project 
  • Develop best practices for repeatable deployment methodologies and standardize tools to develop efficiencies and reduce preparation time; shortening the overall duration of the deployments
  • Define, build and manage quality and efficiencies into the methodologies and deliverables

Change Management:

  • Lead the development and execution of a communication strategy and plan that provides the appropriate level of information, project status, and change initiatives at the right time to the right stakeholders, sponsors and leadership
  • Identify changes to people, processes, and technologies and create a strategy to educate and transition the business through the change
  • Anticipate impact of change and map communications and/or training methods to ease the business transformation as the new processes and systems are adopted
  • Integrate defined change management strategies into the deployment plans and related implementation or technology projects
  • Lead the continuous improvement of the project and training strategies by applying lessons learned and exploring innovation
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or related business field of study required
  • Dynamics CRM or equivalent experience preferred
  • Assistance PSA or equivalent experience preferred
  • Project Management certification preferred
  • PROSCI or equivalent change management training preferred


  • 3+ years’ experience with software deployments to business users required
  • Software implementation project experience preferred
  • Business or technology consulting experience preferred
  • Operations business process improvement experience preferred
  • Change Management experience preferred

Technical/Soft Skills:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
    • Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required
    • OneNote, Project, Visio, SharePoint preferred
  • Effective organizational, facilitation, and time management skills required
  • Ability to manage and integrate change into a project or process required
  • Self-motivated and effectively manages multiple priorities

Leadership Skills:

  • Ability to motive a project team to ensure high performance and quality deliverables
  • Ability to manage relationships and expectations and foster an inclusive work environment that enables collaboration with people at all levels in the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills to help negotiate priorities and to resolve conflicts among project stakeholders
