Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for the scope of supply, schedule and costs for the project. Responsibilities include:
Primary contact for all communications with customer (ie: technical, commercial, and schedule).
Design review meeting coordination.
Tracking and obtaining change orders for variations in scope of supply.
Expedite financial issues with customer.
Ensure invoicing is done as contract allows, and resolve issues with customer.
Customer contact for payment collections.
Research and resolve back charges and claims for and against Robbins.
Obtain customer acceptance sign-off as required by contract.
Create and maintain project management plan.
Manage communications between departments.
Plan, direct and coordinate activities across the various intercompany groups to meet delivery schedule, maintain budget and verify scope of supply.
Report planned vs. actual costs and schedules to upper management.
Coordinate with Field Service Manager to provide on-site services, billed and non-billed.
Provide feedback from site to Quality, Engineering and Production regarding quality issues discovered at site.
Bachelor's Degree in related Engineering or Mechanical field and 3 - 5 years of related project managementexperiencerequired. 4-10 yrs experience in manufacturing, preferably with custom-made machinery.
Must possess strong mechanical aptitude, ability to manage schedules and budgets to meet requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including MS Project.
Business and accounting skills necessary to read, understand and perform within the terms and agreements of the contract.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Quality control and systems experience.
