 Will assist in defining and driving the adoption of key program initiatives nationally for Small Cell Implementation as they relate to reporting on data related to key Small Cell processes and supporting tools.  Key current tools and processes requiring program level focus include DAS 1.0 (presales), DAS 2.0 (post sales), JDEdwards job costs and Property Management functions as well as SCFS Asset / Fiber Management Tool.  Responsibilities include assisting in definition and creation of oversight reporting and metrics to assess the utilization and data integrity of the associated tools as well as supporting KPI's at the market level such as “cycle time” or “Node Lit” forecastingreports. Position duties require close collaboration with National Implementation team “verticals” SCFS Program Management and Reporting team in addition to Finance & Accounting all the market level Implementation teams.  Will fulfill a “train the trainer” role if needed as well as conduct training as required to support the “roll-out” of new reporting tools & processes across the organization.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Work closely with business and management teams to understand their data and reporting needs, to elicit and develop reporting solutions to meet business team needs and objectives as well as write reporting requirements for BI supported reporting efforts.

  • Develop/write reports and create dashboards for various end users; design customer views for illustrating process results or summaries of large sets of data by interpreting the sources of data and deviation.

  • Create reports and analyze large amounts of data for customer deployments for overall performance, trends and anomalies (supporting National Programs) use past performance and future expectations to assist in developing accurate forecasting techniques.

  • Serve as a key liaison to between SCFS and CCI department, primarily SCFS Program Management and Reporting and CCI IT.

  • Coordinate and perform any requisite repot testing as well as end-user reviewsfor modified and new reporting processes

  • Able to work independently or in small teams to develop key reporting and from concept to rollout.

  • Ability to develop content supporting the specific Program Manager sub discipline area of expertise

  • Work across organization lines to collaborate with peers in support of cross-functional Crown Castle value initiatives and collaborate on common management goals for the district, region, and country as a whole.

     

Education/Certifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Economics or Finance related fields (Computer Science, Statistics, etc…)

     

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5-10) years of experience in Data Analysis/Business Analysis or other requisite business experience

  • Exposure to telecommunication industry a plus

     

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Understand and can write reports out of MRE and otherreporting related software (info-assist)

  • Familiarity with SQL and WebFocus or similar a plus

  • Ability to summarize large amounts of complex multi-system data into concise management reporting

  • Excellent Computer skills especially advanced Excel functionality

  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, communication/presentation skills and overall business acumen, along with high standards of accuracy, precision and organization

  • Strong systems aptitude

  • Understands and is able to communicate regarding database structure, interdependencies and relationships of fields

  • Ability to problem solve to determine root causes of data anomalies

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and dynamic environment with need to be flexible as priorities shift

  • Proven ability to work independently and see big picture while also partnering and build relationships cross functionally to influence others

  • Ability to diagnose work flow problems and assist in implementation of remedies
