Role : Project Manager

Job Description: Ideal candidate will have both project management and business development capabilities. Experience working as a Construction Manager at Risk in the healthcare, education, mission critical or industrial/manufacturing markets preferred.
Project Manager will work jointly with Project Superintendent in the completion of a project. Communicate and advise client throughout the execution of the project. Review project documents to ensure compliance of contractresponsibilities. Communicate detailed work responsibilities to contractors and monitor for conformance. Establish, review, and act upon changes in schedules, costs, and scopes of work. Assist in estimating and purchasing.
Manage financial aspects of contracts including but not limited to fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses to protect the company’s interest while simultaneously maintaining good relationships with clients.
Prepare and maintain accurate forecasting at all times.
Manage the procurement process including labor, equipment, materials and subcontracts.
Provide actual cost information to enhance and increase the accuracy of future bids.
Initiate and maintain relationships with client, subcontractors and vendors. Existing knowledge of the Northeast Ohio design and construction market a plus.
Act as a liaison between all parties in order to facilitate construction activities.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to establish collaborative relationship with clients.

Education and Experience:
4-yearconstruction management or engineeringdegree, or equivalent experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financialreports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to a prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or board of directors.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook. Primavera/Oracle and/or Microsoft Project scheduling, Sage Timberline Estimating, and AutoCad are a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Motor Vehicle reportrequired. LEED and PE certifications are a plus.
Occasionally must stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb and balance. Must be able to talk, hear, taste and smell and use hands to finger, handle and feel. Seldom may have to stoop, crouch or crawl. May need to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
