In this role, you have the opportunity to

Prepares and implements small single discipline project or subprojects of an integral project, in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing.  Responsible for execution, progress, and quality of the project. Small project, mainly reuse (of in-product HW,SWE in case of a technical project). 

You are responsible for

  • Proactively evaluating multiple project for opportunities to improve performance
  • Continuous monitoring of risk, and mitigation as appropriate
  • Providing daily direction and guidance to team members in the execution of the project (s)
  • Escalation of cross-functional support issues to the manager or leadership as appropriate
  • Being ultimately accountable for team’s compliance with approved Project Charters, Design Controls, and Change Management
  • Ensuring team members adhere to internal procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Providing guidance and coaching/mentoring to team members as appropriate
  • Approving project expenses to a given amount level
  • Building key relationships with customers and stakeholders relating to their project(s)
  • Serving as expert to project teams on overall “Product Development Process” (including Design Controls and Change Management)
  • Leading selected external resources in the execution of multiple product development projects (i.e. managing critical external relationships for testing, development, attaining components / subassemblies, etc.)
  • Technical ability to understand and effectively orchestrate the work being accomplished on multiple projects.  Technical background in engineering/science (R&D engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Quality Engineering preferred).

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum four yeardegree in Engineering or Science, advanced degreedesired
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Project Manager
  • Experience leading design change management of globally distributed product lines
  • Demonstrated success leading and influencing cross-functional peers
  • Experience in a regulated industry required (medical device development experiencepreferred along
